I, Umair Attique, am an experienced mathematics tutor. I believe that teaching is a rewarding experience, and I teach to share the knowledge that I’ve acquired over time with my students to make sure they improve. My education includes Masters in Mathematics from Loughborough University, Masters in Business Administration from the University of Leicester Leicestershire, and a professional graduate certificate in education from Loughborough University, UK.
My education has empowered me to learn the essential economic, financial, and mathematical concepts that I share with my students to help them improve. I believe that quality of study matters more than quantity because mathematical concepts are essential to harness.
Over the course of time, I have developed highly analytical skills, which I inculcate in my students, which empowers them to solve complicated mathematical problems. Accrediting my strong communication skills, I am able to build a strong relationship with my students, promising a better learning experience.
Over the years, I have taught mathematics to hundreds of students with an exceptional performance upgrade. As a teacher, I understand the value of using correct teaching techniques, which I why I always take advanced teaching training to make sure I am implementing modern and better teaching techniques as it directly influences the learning outcomes.
I have always been a good planner, which always comes in handy when it comes down to lesson planning. Whenever I am hired for teaching, I make sure to create well-demonstrated and in-depth lesson plans to ensure students are properly prepared for the exam.
In addition to this, I pay utmost focus to the students’ development and progress instead of bombarding information on them that they aren’t able to comprehend. Since mathematics is a difficult subject for the majority of students, I curate specialized teaching techniques that help promote critical thinking and analytical skills in students as it capacitates them to generate results and solve problems.
For instance, I have previously applied the integrated pedagogy technique, which showed positive results in the reasoning, problem-solving, and modeling skills of the students. Some of the common topics that I have taught include statistics, pure mathematics, and mechanics, along with other miscellaneous topics that helped students achieve remarkable progress.
On top of everything, I am fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, which empowers me to ensure seamless communication with my students. I have always focused on creating a healthy learning space for my students where they are allowed to question, reason, and experiment because that’s the core of learning mathematics!
